It is time again for the Coon Valley Lions Vernon County Food Pantry Holiday Fundraising Drive. While we know that everyone has had to tighten their belts a little during the past year, this season we hope you can find the spirit of giving once again and do your part to help out our friends and neighbors who find themselves in need. The Coon Valley Lions will continue our tradition of hosting a Fundraising Drive. The goal of our project will remain the same as always - to raise funds for the Vernon County Food Pantry.


This is our twelfth year of holding this fundraising drive, and last year your generosity was once again outstanding, and our contributors allowed us to raise $6.780.00 for the food pantry. The total raised over the past twelve years has now reached $95,573.91. With these monies, the Vernon County Food Pantry has purchased almost 1.75 million dollars’ worth of food! We always strive to increase of generosity from the past year, so our goal for this year then is to raise $6,781.00!! We are again hopeful, that with your support, we will reach this goal


The Coon Valley Lions will again match the first $500.00 of donations. We hope that all of the groups and individuals that participated last year will support this years’ effort and our focus on helping the hungry in our area. The Vernon County Food Pantry can purchase almost $18 worth of food for each $1.00 donated, so this has a much larger impact than donating a bag of canned food items.


Below you will find a contribution form. Fill it out with the appropriate information and mail it with your check or cash, using the enclosed addressed envelope. The Coon Valley Lions is not a 501-3c organization. If you wish to use your donation as a charitable deduction for income tax purposes, make your check payable to: Vernon County Food Pantry. Otherwise, make your check payable to Coon Valley Lions. All donations should be received by December 31, 2022, to ensure that all families get the assistance they need during this holiday season.


We are extremely grateful for all of the support that the area has shown to the Coon Valley Lions, and we hope that you will continue to support this project as we continue our efforts to support the Vernon County Food Pantry and the people of our area that use its resources.
